New Stuff

Hey everyone,
Today’s Monday, the perfect day for a blog post.

-First off our first blog contest is closing in on the deadline of May Tenth be sure to get your entries in by then. You can probably expect some more contests from our blog in the future, keep checking in for more information. And while were on the topic of contests Theory 11’s cardistry contest videos have been posted in the media section. My personal favorite is F501, it just blew me away. If you want to check it out you can see it HERE .

-Next, Daniel Madison has released Three and there was a special pre-release of thoughts of a madman. Be sure to check both products out as they are truly fantastic.

-Theory 11 also released an advanced supplyof David Blaine Split Spades Playing Cards,once mine arrive maybe i will post a review of them if i get a chance. Theory 11 also released a new one on one called missing link by Chris Kenner. Personally i learnt this trick out of Totally Out Of Control, but its worth it to pick this effect up if you have ten dollars kicking around.

Hello Everyone,

Today brings some more random updates.

-Ellusionist released the  ”Ultragaff” by Wayne Houchin and Daniel Garcia yesterday, and it broke their website.Still if anyone happens to buy Ultragaff and would like to do a quick review for us that would be pretty awesome.

-Keep sending in your contest entries, the deadline is still May 10th. The way we are going to announce the winning entry is by a video posted on the front page. We are going to put all of the entries into a bowl or paper bag depending on how many more entries we get (hopefully lots more) then we will draw out one name and thats who our winner will be. After that we will email the winner with instructions on how to claim their prize.

-If you want your website put in the links area of our website just email us at cardexblog@gmail.com  and we can add it.

Hey everyone(random news and notes)

Hello to all our blog visitors,

I just wanted to say a few quick things seeing as its three in the morning and I can’t sleep.

-By the looks of things it looks like Ultragaff is going to be released at Ellusionist on April 15th (at least I think thats the date it comes out). It looks pretty cool from what I’ve seen, if anyone buys it and wants to do a quick review for us you can email us at cardexblog@gmail.com

-Our contest is still going well, it was great to see the huge response we have had so far.
we have even had a few suggestions for future contests!!

First off let me just say WOW, the response to our website has been fantastic and i’d like to thank everyone once again for coming to visit our website. The Grand Opening Contest

Hey guys, what’s up?

Since this is our grand opening for our blog, we thought we would have a contest. So you are probably asking yourself, “What is this contest?”. Well, the contest is very simple, all you need to do is email us at, cardexblog@gmail.com, with the subject, “Contest Entry”, in the email please include your first and last name and your email address. The winner’s name will be picked out of a hat at random. There is however one rule, you can only submit your name once and please don’t go and create hundred different emails, we will know and you will be disqualified.

So with every contest, there is a prize and the prize for our contest is a 6 deck variety pack which Includes (but may still change) 1 Black Dr Leon Deck,1 League Back Deck, 1 Shadow Master Deck, 1Vintage Deck,1 Theory11 Bicycle Guardian Deck, 1 2nd Edition Black Ghost.

Welcome to The Cardex 2 blog

Hey everyone,
Welcome to the Cardex 2 blog, firstly I guess we should start off with what our name means. The “cardex” part of our name means Card Experience and the 2 means two of us (Allan and Mike).We know it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but lets just ignore that fact.

Aside from the name, you will find the latest in magic news, podcasts, reviews and videos. Also, we will be holding contests every so often and we have a video project which is in the makings as you read this (more info to come).
